Progression and No-progression Roulette Systems

By:

Many players who attempt to beat the house odds and conquer the roulette wheel play using various systems designed to help players to win. These systems are usually categorized as either progression systems or systems not using any progression. There are many differences between the two, and each has its own good and bad points.

When choosing a progression system, there are plenty of choices available. The two types of systems most widely chosen are systems using positive progression or negative progression. Both types of systems are used to stop the house's advantage over the player and turn the odds instead in the favor of that player. Both the negative and positive progression systems can take a long time before the benefit is gained.

Roulette systems utilizing negative progression require that the player raise their wager after losing money. The Martingale Progression, as well as some other roulette systems, requires that each bet be steadily higher. When a negative progression system is followed to completion, a final win, even after a lot of losses, will still make the player a winner. The main problem with this type of system is the large bets that are often required to sustain it.

Players who use a positive progression type are using their previous winnings. Also called pyramiding, this system requires that winnings be used to win more money. To keep playing a negative progression system, the player has to win repeatedly. If the entire amount of money won is subsequently lost, there is no way to continue to use the system until more money can be won.

Most casinos are aware of the systems that players use to try to beat the odds. Some casinos have instituted wager limits for each single roulette wager to try to dissuade players from using progression systems. Other casinos have actually imposed limits on the amount of rounds in a row one player can play. To get around table maximums, players have to be more creative than ever to try to get around the system.

With roulette table maximums, there are many players who stick with systems requiring no progression. These no-progression systems come in many different varieties. One such system relies on the player's observation of the numbers the ball most often lands on and then betting on those numbers. Other systems rely on other observations or methods, but all are ways to make the process less random.

When choosing a roulette system, it is important to decide which one will go best with your size of bankroll, the time you have to play the game, and what type of odds you prefer to play. Some systems may be a better fit for some players than others, and some may not offer much better odds than if there was no system being played at all.

But there is one system that's different, in that it will work for anyone out there. The system is the only way to really be sure to win at roulette. This system is available from www.winning-at-roulette.com.
